For the past couple of weeks I’ve been testing over the reservoirs that run parallel to Balangara Way, to get a feel for data collection, processing and testing. I’ve experimented with various techniques, software & hardware. It’s still a work in progress, but I’ve now setup a data processing farm with Amazon AWS so that I can do more in-depth testing “in house”. This is a very basic initial test consisting of 206 photographs captured using a Phantom 4 Professional Edition Aircraft.
